This is our modern day baby book! It is our prayer that years from now, Zeke and Adalynn will look back at the details of this blog and understand just how much we looked forward to meeting them and love them!

Christmas in Johns Creek (Part 1)

Well, the picture above is right before we left for Johns Creek!  We opened presents with Daddy and took a few pictures.  The kids opened their sweet gifts from Teresa and Todd (cute hat and backpack).  Zeke got to open his presents from us, which consisted of a Melissa and Doug play dough set and huge floor puzzle of creation!

We left for Johns Creek on Tuesday, December 23rd.  Right after we arrived, Zeke started feeling poorly and we realized he had the flu Gregg was still recovering from back at home.  Poor little guy stayed in bed, rested, and slept for about 36 hours.

On Christmas Day, he woke us up at 3am to let us know he was feeling better!  He got to spend the day with his cousins and Geegee, which was a huge blessing!

Listening to Wynna read the story of Jesus' birth

Grandma (GeeGee) with her 5 great grandchildren!

Wynna and Papa (Granddaddy) with their grandchildren

Playing a game with Wynna!

The kids played outside for a while.  This is Zeke's new big wheel from Wynna and Papa.  He has outgrown his little Thomas the Train big wheel!

Jared putting Zeke's big wheel together!

GeeGee sat outside all bundled up while the children played!

My mom made adorable red dresses for the girls and we found an outfit for Zeke to match.  They had great time playing with their cousins (and GeeGee!).  Zeke told me today that he missed "the girls!"  He said he missed Wynna, GeeGee, and Papa too.  He told me that Papa always takes a nap and Wynna doesn't.  He said, "Daddy goes to work and you don't take a nap because you have to take care of us!"  That sounds about right!

The day after Christmas, we were thrilled to have Joe, Nancy, Ross, and Alli come visit from Houston.  We enjoyed our time together fellowshipping and eating!

We are incredibly thankful to have been able to celebrate Jesus' birth with our family.  It was such a wonderful time full of memories we will always cherish.

"Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!"
2 Corinthians 9:15
