This is our modern day baby book! It is our prayer that years from now, Zeke and Adalynn will look back at the details of this blog and understand just how much we looked forward to meeting them and love them!

Spring in Americus!

We are very thankful to have our sweet friend, Nikita, take our pictures. For those of you who don't know, Sheeba is my mentor/dear friend/sister in Christ.  Nikita is her 16 year-old daughter who has a been gifted by God with a talent for photography.  She took a few of us after church the week after Resurrection Sunday since we had to miss the previous week.

Then, Sheeba and Nikita came over one Monday this month to try to help us re-create the photo of my mom and myself at age 2 at my grandmother, Louise's, piano.  This is a picture my mom took of the photos she has hanging in her bedroom:

Adalynn has shown us her strong personality ever since she was born.  She decided this wasn't the day she wanted to have these pictures taken.  We continue to pray God will use her strong will for His glory! Sheeba and Nikita were so patient in trying to make her comfortable sitting at the piano.  Nikita managed to get a couple of shots.  We may try again another time because you can't really see Adalynn's face, but here are the photos she captured, which are precious...

And the collage I made of Adalynn and myself at age two...

Now, here are the rest of the photos Nikita took that day:

Melt my heart!

Zeke's favorite hotwheel!

Then, one Sunday after church, Nikita took some candid photos of Adalynn (and some of Zeke!).  It is such a gift to have these moments captured for us to remember these little years.  They are passing so quickly!

Their dynamic...he's getting into something and she's following after him!

Time to head home!
I'll close with some memories caught on my phone.  This is kind of "a month in the life of us!"

She would be outside 24/7 if possible!
