This is our modern day baby book! It is our prayer that years from now, Zeke and Adalynn will look back at the details of this blog and understand just how much we looked forward to meeting them and love them!

December 2019

Christmas dance recital

Lily Faith participated in her first ballet recital.  It was such a joy for me to see how much she enjoyed the whole process.  Adalynn also performed, and had fun, but decided this would be her last recital.  She has been asking to take piano lessons, which we were able to schedule for January.  This was the first recital in which I had students.  It was quite a journey, but my students did a great job and I was pleased.

Daddy is always a sport to come to dance recitals

Zeke plays piano at Central Baptist Church

Zeke was honored to play piano at his piano teacher, Ms. Elaine's, church again this year.  It was the same weekend of the recital, so Wynna was able to attend both!  Gregg was able to hear Zeke play, then headed out to work.

I think they were going hunting in this photo

Gingerbread house

This year, we all worked on one gingerbread house, which was a lot of fun. Then, the kids used the extra materials to make their own paper plate creations!

All done!

Movie Night

Our church held a movie night where they watched A Charlie Brown Christmas.  They wore PJs, layed on blankets, and ate snacks.  It was a fun night!

Lunch with Wynna

We ate lunch at Little Brother's Bistro with Wynna before she headed home.  It was exciting because we knew we would be headed up to Wynna and Granddaddy's house in a few days!

Johns Creek Christmas 2019

We drove up to Johns Creek relatively early, as I mentioned in the November post.  Gregg had a week off prior to Christmas.  We all enjoyed quality time together, especially since Jared and his girls were staying at Wynna and Granddaddy's also.

We managed to fit in a trip to the mall, which included build-a-bear and merry-go-round rides, an early Christmas Eve and Christmas celebration, and breakfast with Mrs. Claus at the Atlanta Athletic Club...phew!

Christmas in Americus 2019

This was the first year we spent Christmas in Americus.  It was odd, but was also nice to be home with Gregg this year since he typically works on Christmas.

It was low key.  Adalynn received her bike from Wynna and they each were given some stocking stuffers.  Adalynn practiced riding her bike and Zeke created a whole wedding ceremony for his owl stuffed animals.  The owl, Chubby, was Gregg's as a child, and Chunky (the bride) was given to Zeke by Chella and Gregg's sister, Stacey.  It was so creative and cute!

After Christmas

We had the opportunity to visit with the Cherians after Christmas, which we always enjoy.  We are thankful for all God has taught us and done in and through us in 2019.  We look forward with hope and joy to 2020!

Sheeba was missing, but it's a sweet photo
