This is our modern day baby book! It is our prayer that years from now, Zeke and Adalynn will look back at the details of this blog and understand just how much we looked forward to meeting them and love them!

June 2018

Birthday and Anniversary celebrations

I was thankful to get to celebrate my birthday by going to church as a family.  Gregg got me a massage, which I really enjoyed.

Our 10 year anniversary was June 7, 2018.  It is incredible to look back and see what God has done in our lives over the past 10 years.  He has drawn Gregg and me closer to Him and, as a result, closer to one another.  He's blessed us with three fearfully and wonderfully made children.  He is always faithful and we are thankful.

"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful." Hebrews 10:23

We rented our friends' cabin in Andersonville, GA to celebrate our anniversary.  It was the perfect set up for us.  It has 3 bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, and space to play outside.  It was fun to take a little getaway!

A little dark, but you get the idea!

Gregg took the big kids fishing on the property.  They each caught something.

Rubik's Cube Competition

Zeke had the honor of participating in the Windsor Classic 2018, a Rubik's cube competition held in Americus.  He was the youngest competitor!  Our dear friends, the Cherians, hosted.  Joshua and Nikita were co-organizers and did a fantastic job.

Zeke competed in his first 3x3x3 competition.  His goal was 1 minute, 5 seconds, and he came in just below that!  We were so pleased with his hard work and dedication.  His fastest time is now 49 seconds.  The world record is 4.22 seconds!  It's amazing to watch the competitors solve with such speed.  The winner that day came in at around 7 seconds for his best time.  There were multiple categories and types of cubes.  The competition lasted all day.

Ready to leave for the competition

Zeke was able to participate as a judge too.  Here he is judging the fastest cuber in Georgia, Katie Hull

Library story time

Our library has a summer reading program, in addition to fun programming every Tuesday during the summer.  This wild animal presentation is always a hit.  The kids enjoyed it again this year.

She enjoyed the animals too!

Hall Family vacation in Johns Creek

We decided to take our vacation this summer as a "staycation" in Johns Creek.  We were able to spend time with family and friends.  Zeke and Adalynn attended Camp All-American at Perimeter Church.  Cousin, Harper, stayed with us and went to camp as well.  It was a fun, busy, and tiring week!  The kids had a blast and we are thankful for time with family.
