This is our modern day baby book! It is our prayer that years from now, Zeke and Adalynn will look back at the details of this blog and understand just how much we looked forward to meeting them and love them!

March...faith, family, and fun!!

In March, we celebrated Lily Faith being with us on the outside as long as I carried her in my womb!  Wow!  She turned 41 weeks, 2 days old this month.  The collage above shows the photograph I took to announce we were expecting in September of 2015, then her in the little super(wo)man costume!  What a precious gift she is!

Classical Conversations Family Presentation

We were blessed to have Gregg come with us to CC again.  Each family is assigned a week to share about themselves.  We brought our "In the Hall Family We..." board that hangs in our living room.  Gregg shared the main points, highlighting that we love Jesus, love our neighbors, give/save/spend, and are led by the Spirit.  He introduced us and did a great job representing our family!

Her first time in the swing...she was not thrilled!

Celebrating Purim

Our sweet friends, the Crump Family, invited us to come to their home to celebrate Purim.  It is a Hebrew celebration that helps us remember what Esther did to save the Jewish people.  The kids and some adults acted out the story and Zeke played Esther's Uncle Mordecai.  Mordecai stood up to Haman who was trying to destroy the Jews through his position under King Xerxes (Ahasuerus).  Zeke did a great job acting as if he was ignoring Haman.  It made us all laugh!  He also was the one who said the verse in Esther that many of us can quote, "If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die.  Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?" (Esther 4:14)

After the skit, we enjoyed eating and celebrating over ice cream as Mrs. Crump read some of Esther to us.  Then, they gave us a basket full of fruit, which is a tradition in the Jewish culture.  It was a wonderful time together celebrating what God did for His people.

Right before the skit!

The Florida Halls and Aunt Debbie visit

Jimmy, Maria, Leah, Gregory, and Aunt Debbie came to visit us during their spring break.  It was such a special time.  Sadly, Gregg had to be away for a work trip, but we were thankful they came anyway.  The kids had a blast with Gregory and Leah.  Unfortunately is was very cold outside, but we were able to venture out and have lunch in downtown Americus.  We spent the rest of the time at home playing and enjoying visiting with one another.  It's a time I know the kids will always remember!  I'll update with a few more pictures from Aunt Debbie when I get them.

More of March

Gregg came home and we were excited to see him!!  We enjoyed time together going to our CC group, attending the Blanchard boys' birthday party, and just being at home!

Lily Faith turned 10 months on March 23rd!  She is still a tiny little thing, but is developing and changing every day!  She's trying to pull up on furniture.  She can balance holding onto things.  She has 2 new teeth (top front) and weighs a little over 16 pounds!

Daddy is home!!
I came across this photo of Zeke meeting GeeGee and made this collage!
