As I mentioned yesterday, we took Zeke to Cagle's Dairy Farm in Canton, GA. We wanted to take him to a pumpkin patch this fall, and decided at the last minute to go ahead and go this weekend. The high temperature was around 65, and it was a beautiful sunny day. Our friends Carlos and Arilea met us there with their two kids, Carlitos and Annalisse. It was a picture perfect day as you'll see!
After we arrived, and bought our tickets for the hayride, we decided to head over to the pumpkin patch. Zeke had fun picking out a pumpkin. He was not interested in the big ones, and headed straight for the tiny one you'll see him holding. He's a smart boy and knows what he can handle! We took the opportunity to take fall family photos before we boarded the hayride.

The hayride took us on a tour of the old dairy farm (it's not a working dairy farm anymore, which made me sad). We got to see a boarder collie herding sheep and cows, in addition to getting to see the cows up close (one tried to lick Carlitos' hand!).
Carlitos is 2 months older than Zeke...haha, we have a big boy! |
Next we got off and headed to see the other animals. Gregg was excited there was a turkey, although I don't think Zeke knew they were ever living (he's only seen them after the fact!)! Gregg proceeded to call the turkeys, which Zeke loved, of course! We also saw a pig, ducks, baby calves, chickens, and goats. After feeding the animals we decided it was time to head home.
It was a great day spent as a family and we enjoyed being with our friends too!
