This is our modern day baby book! It is our prayer that years from now, Zeke and Adalynn will look back at the details of this blog and understand just how much we looked forward to meeting them and love them!

Back to School ~ August 2018

Back to School 2018-2019

Once again, we thank God for the opportunity to homeschool.  Zeke is now in 3rd grade and Adalynn in kindergarten.  It's hard to believe how quickly they grow.  We started our new BJU (Bob Jones University) Press curriculum.  It has taken some time to adjust, but we are figuring it out and enjoying it.  The children enjoy learning from different teachers through the DVD distance learning, and it allows me more time to attend to them as they work, my homemaking duties, and grading.

 Fun in August

We finished out the summer with some fun times with friends and a visit from Wynna.  I don't have a lot of pictures from August because our school days became busy and full.  Zeke and Adalynn both participated in a 6 week gymnastics course.  Zeke continues to take piano and Adalynn began ballet (which I'll write about in the next post).  As I write this in November, looking back, I finally feel like we are in a nice groove with our schedule and I have time to take a few minutes to write.

July 2018

Hello friends!  Long time, no see!  I have to be honest, blogging completely took the back burner to homeschool planning and school.  I'm going to work to catch up over the next few weeks, so we will begin where we left off with July...

Fun in Americus

We enjoyed Tuesdays at the library for special programs this summer, in addition to fun in our pool and time with sweet friends.

 Another visit to Johns Creek

We were thrilled to make another trip up to Johns Creek to celebrate Gregg and Jared's birthdays and visit with family and friends.  My dear friend, Kristen, and her family were in town from Denmark.  They come to the states twice a year, so I plan trips up based on when they will be in town!

We were grateful to get to spend a day with Kristen, Morten, Vega, and Atlas.  Gregg was working in Atlanta and came back to my parents' house after work...

Ready to head back home to Americus!

Back to Americus

We had a fun trip, but were ready to get back home so I could plan the school year.  Zeke was getting ready to start 3rd grade and Adalynn was ready to start kindergarten.  It's always so hard to believe how quickly they grow!

Super hero sisters
I'll conclude here.  Thanks for your patience.  I hope you enjoy looking back over our summer with us.  Stay tuned for our August update!  Blessings to you all!
