Playing catch up!

I was looking back through my phone and photos and realized how much we have done that I haven't posted about.  I've been doing what I can to get through each day and try to keep some sense of normalcy for the kids.  I'm starting to feel better, so I wanted to fill you all in on the last month and a half!  Thank you all for your prayers for me and this baby.  You don't know how much it means!

The kids have tagged along with me on a few doctor's appointments and were exposed to fast food at the beginning of the pregnancy.  Thankfully, my tastes are now for big salads with lots of good protein and fats!

Plains Peanut Festival

We had the privilege of seeing Daddy work at the Plains, GA Peanut Festival.  We had fun eating boiled peanuts, riding a pony, and people watching after we saw Daddy protecting Mrs. Carter!

 

 

Classical Conversations

We have continued to enjoy participating in Classical Conversations, our homeschool group.  The kids (and I) are learning so much through the songs we use to memorize information.  We are very thankful to be a part of our "CC Community!"

Farm Field Trip

We went to Calhoun's Family Farm in Ashburn, GA for a field trip with CC.  We had a blast seeing the various wildlife, playing on the playground, going on a hayride, participating in the corn maze, watching pig races, and eating lunch together.

We got to attend our sweet friend, Lydia Grace's, 1st birthday party!

 Gregg was able to take Zeke to ride Thomas the Train again in Cordele, GA.  He left his phone in the car, so we don't have any pictures of the day, but they have great memories!!!

Our church hosted a fall picnic a few weeks ago.  We got to picnic together, play games, and the kids even got to get on a real fire engine!

I'll wrap it up with a few miscellaneous photos.  We are thrilled that I'm entering my 2nd trimester next week and can't wait to find out if we are having a boy or a girl.  We are praising God daily for this gift of life!!!

October 2015!

In all honesty, the past month has been very tough.  The verses above have been a comfort and source of strength for me.  I have been sick from the pregnancy and Zeke has been sick.  God has been gracious in the little details to provide help for us, though. We are grateful for all of the prayer support we have received.  

At the beginning of the month, we had some family photos taken.  I received them all today, so I wanted to share them with you.  I'll go ahead and post all of them.  

I plan to write more next week as I enter my 12th week of this pregnancy.  Praise God!

Oh, baby!!!

"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Many of you know God has blessed us with the gift of a new baby to arrive May of 2016.  We are so incredibly grateful and in awe of God's perfect timing.  I'll write more later about what God has been teaching me through this process, but I wanted to post this to ask you all to pray.

I've been experiencing "all day sickness."  Gregg's work schedule is incredibly busy right now.  It is a tough season and we would really appreciate your prayers.

In case you need a little laugh, I think y'all will enjoy reading my pregnancy cravings (i.e. the only things I can eat without feeling nauseous)...Taco Bell crispy beef tacos, guacamole, Sonic cheeseburgers, black olives, bacon, peanut butter crackers, French fries, and NOTHING even remotely sweet.  Apparently I've reverted back to my teenage diet (aside from the no sweets thing!).
