September happenings

I feel like a broken record, but September flew by too.  The weather stayed extremely hot and we swam in our pool throughout the month.  Adalynn had the opportunity to start taking ballet/tap lessons.  We registered her late, so she was placed in the 1st and 2nd grade class.  She has worked hard to catch up and learn steps like balance and arabesque.  They will have a Christmas and spring recital.  I can't wait to see her up on stage just like her mommy!

Visit from the Florida Halls 

We were thrilled to have Jimmy, Maria, Leah, and Gregory come stay with us for a night.  The Lord has truly blessed us with them and we are grateful.  We spent time talking about what God is teaching us and praying together.  The kids had a blast playing together.  We ended the visit with a nice lunch at Little Brother's Bistro!

 More fun times in September

We continued to work hard in school and enjoy our weekends and Wednesdays with our church family.  The weather did not cool down, but we did set out our fall decorations.

Derby Race at church

Our friends, and children's pastors, Matt and Jen, planned a fun derby car race for the children at church.  They got to paint their own car and we all came to watch the race.  Zeke ended up in 3rd place.  It was a fun afternoon for all!

Well, that's a wrap for September.  It was full of fun, once again.  I thank God for these moments we get to spend with family and friends.  It truly is a gift!
